That's kinda pointless seeing as OS X is already built on a Unix
kernel anyway... And with great power comes... great abuse.
Especially if you "cd /", then "sudo rm -r" at the terminal with root
privileges! (okay, I apologize - I realize some of you may actually
want to put a linux distro on so you can test Linux apps compiled
with RB...)
As to the original problem, I found that you can right-click the
task bar, select properties and click the "Customize" button, you can
permanently hide ones you don't want - select it's behavior in the
right-hand column of the listbox, and pull down and select "Always
Hide."
HTH anyone else with this aggravating problem! Got this from
"Windows XP Hacks" (O'Reilly Books)

Or even better, install voice recognition, then yell out "Format
See Colon Slash Ess Slash Cue Slash You Enter" (of course this trick
only works if the voice recognition software works in the DOS
window...) End of THAT little problem... :)
