If your method is extremely long it will eventually use up the  
available stack space. This allowed longer methods in Rb 5.5 as the  
stack wasn't consumed as much as in Rb 2007r1. It could still be  
exceeded quite easily.

On 5.5 you got no warning when that happened. You now get a message  
that the allowable stack space has been exceeded. It tells you the  
size requested and method that is causing it as well.
