Hi Tony - I have that very setup, except that I have 1.25GB of RAM. I happen to be running MacOS 10.4.9. Here are some times I am seeing:
Start RB 2007r2: 16-19 seconds Open a 1MB project: 9 seconds Run the same project: 9 seconds Run the same project again: 6 seconds (Basically, there are 3 seconds of "compile" and 6 seconds of "build/launch".) In general, the incremental compile is a big plus, and otherwise 2007r2 feels pretty much in line with other versions as far as overall speed goes. On this particular laptop, I mostly deal with just this one project so my experience is rather limited, but I see no reason to avoid 2007r2 on the machine you describe. lj _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html>
