Howdy everyone,
So. In linux there's some nice commands and tools to retrieve the duplex 
state of a NIC, be it half or full, but Windows has no such beast. 
Bizarre, but true. Sure, you can specify a duplex state, but that 
doesn't tell you what is coming out of the auto-negotiation. Anyway, so 
I've formed a question for you guys:

Can any of you think of a way to calculate the duplex state? I guess you 
could set up the app to transmit and receive something and compare 
timestamps, but I'm not sure how relevant that would be.

This isn't important or anything, just sort of an idle curiosity that I 
thought I'd try and drag you all into.
