I did try that. I think the problem is the installer package itself. If I remember correctly, the installer pops up a message saying that the Windows system is not the appropriate platform, but it's been a while.
In either case, I don't think it's a big deal. Unlike most Windows software, it appears to work fine when copied. I'm also seriously considering an upgrade to RB2007 soon.
