If by this you mean that double-clicking on an RB project file launches an older version of RB, that is not RB's fault. It is the Finder doing what it thinks is correct. You can try changing that behavior by doing a Get Info on an .rbp file and using the "Open with" popupmenu to assign it to the new version, along with the "Change All" button to make it universal. However I have never had very good luck with that approach, as the Finder seems to have a mind of its own on my machines. The other option is to delete the older versions of RB. Or use a launcher that lets you assign the application to launch a file with. Or drag and drop a document icon on your application of choice.
