<diatribe snipped> If you go back and read what I've said on this thread I agree with SOME of what you said. Not 100% but a fair bit. That said I have managed groups (about 40 guys at one time), I have fired people for crappy coding practices, and have had some very effective projects come to fruition in large companies. One is now about 14 years old and sill running and being updated.
