Your variants are out of "synch", I presume. RS has extended the Variant class and when comparing the old with the new sdk you could extract that with the new REALSetProp and REALGetProp entry points. You can proof that if you check first if the function pointer you get with REALLoadObjectMethod is not nil. Then you know you need to investigate the variant class...
