Yeah, the App will be UB when REALbasic is UB compatible *and* I

Why not the mini :)
I would rather spend more money and get a 2.16 GHz Core 2 Duo with a
real Graphics card.
Now that Apple updated to the 1.66 Core Duo for the low end (up from
the 1.66 Core Solo) it is a little better deal... but because it is
still so low end (compared to other Intel Macs) I don't think that it
will be a practical machine for very long. Too small of a hard
drive, limited Max memory, shared GMA 950 video and so on.
In other words, it is not a "power user" machine, and I am definitely
a power user with all of the work I do in Photoshop. At least
Photoshop on the 20" iMac would be equal in performance to my current
computers (even running under Rosetta) and once the UB version of
Photoshop comes out, it will be a major upgrade for me.
Finally, my PowerMac is using a Apple LCD with the old ADC connector,
which means upgrading the monitor as well. And the iMac has a nice
LCD built... it would cost exactly the same for me to buy the Apple
20" LCD and the Mac Mini 1.83 as it would for me to just buy the iMac.
The iMac has *much* better performance.
