Hi people,

I've been getting reports that my ElfData plugin for UB doesn't work for UB, yet. Apparantly, RB crashes upon build. I don't have RB for UB but I do have an Intel Mac, and Xcode of course.

If anyone wants to take a look at my Xcode project, it is here: http://www.elfdata.com/ElfDataSrc.zip

It should build with no problems. You won't need to set any paths, or put it in any special directory, or move RB's plugin SDK into it, or anything. It will just build when you tell it to. Needs Xcode of course, the version of Xcode that is new enough to compile UB.

Unfortunately, not having RB for UB myself, I can't test my plugin, this is what is making it harder.

I am using a plugin SDK which I've made myself, which is probably the source of the problems. Just to let you know ahead of time. It does work for Win32, Carbon, PPC and Linux though! Its also pretty recognisable as it still has a REALpluginMain function.

The REALpluginMain function is in the file "ObjectPlatformRB.i", at the bottom of that function.

I'm simply making this available in case anyone wants to help me get this sorted out sooner, even if only because you need it yourself sooner. I'll get it working for UB anyhow even if no one can take a look, I've committed myself to maintaining and developing my plugin so no worries there. This is just to get it done sooner, thats all.

Let me know of any and all your problems or findings with finding the reason why this silly plugin doesn't work for UB, yet!!!

Just a final note: Of course this source code belongs to me, but I don't expect anyone to steal anything anyhow, most likely cos there's nothing to be made from it ;) and even then it's protected by copyright.
