Hi,
I can lock a picture description with or without specifying what I
want.
Now if I ask without a type, RB may do conversion behind, so I

may ask before for a type which is not converted.
What is the native format in RB 2006 for pictures for each platform?

I think this is a very important question, since for plugins then in
most cases the plugin author does not want any conversion to happen
since such will slow the plugin too much.
So REAL please detail this out for us.
Here is how it was or at least how I understood it: (Please verify
that it is still the same or tell us if there are changes)
REALLockPictureDescription(picture, &pictureDescription);
// Caused no conversation on Mac and Linux. But silly enough then it
does cause conversions on Windows, kinda braking the logic here as
this one should have been to just obtain exactly what it is and its
dimensions.
REALLockPictureDescription(picture,
&pictureDescription,pictureWin32Bitmap)
// Causes no conversions on Windows and is a lot faster to use there
than the other.
I Expect this one would be used to convert on other platforms ?
