Still you may find solutions for all platforms.

This might get tricky for embedded stuff (images) and I'm not sure if
framesets fire the CancelLoad event, but it might be workable with
some forethought...
Christian: Have you considered creating a special index page for your
docs that simply points users to your online documentation? People
will have to be connected for this to work of course, but the help
viewer seems to handle live web pages well enough (at least on Mac OS
X).
