Hi, recently I got more of the crash reports where the plugin cache was corrupt. So I wrote a plugin to detect on REALbasic's launch whether the caches are too old.
So the plugin loads and installs a timer. Five seconds after REALbasic finished loading, it checks whether the newest plugin file is newer than the oldest file in the cache. If that is true, a msgbox is shown to inform you. And once you click ok, the cache folder is opened, so you can drag the files to the trash. tested on RB 2008r1 Mac, RB 2007r5 Mac and 2007r5 Windows. Linux is not yet supported. download here: <http://www.monkeybreadsoftware.de/realbasic/plugin/MBS%20REALbasic%20Cl earCache%20Plugin.rbx.zip> Comments are welcome! PS: This plugin is freeware and will be included with future MBS Plugin releases. Gruß Christian -- Over 1000 classes with 20000 functions in one REALbasic plug-in.
