I also should have said I'm using Snow Leopard.
By trial and error I found the answer. Probably you will want to do
this only for Deployment.
In "Project Settings" for "Architectures" put:
i386 ppc
for "Base SDK" put:
/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.5.sdk
Do a Clean (assuming you're in Deployment mode). Then Build. That
should do it. If not, check in "General" in "Project Settings" that
"Base SDK for All Configurations:" is set to "<Multiples Values>.
