Push Powerpoint Slides: How???

        Have a project that requires using real audio along with powerpoint.
What is the best way to develop an automated push to handle changing
the slides?

        Has anyone tried javascript markers, etc? Looking to learn from 
your experience. We would like to use SMIL if possible too...
