Subject: Live stream overlay
We are wondering if it is possible to overlay content in a live stream.
Specifically, we would like to have a live stream with certain periods of
silence in it. We would like to be able to replace the silence with per
user (or per group of users) content such as a targeted ad or a piece of
regional content. Currently our live streams are being generated with
G2SLTA. This adds an additional level of complexity to the problem by
necessitating that we be able to synchronize the overlay with the silent
periods. If the overlay itself is possible, is there any way to send events
upstream from G2SLTA that would trigger the beginning of the overlay inside
the rmserver (or at whatever other point it could be triggered)?
