If youre splitting baseband video, it will cause many problems. Worst
would be the double termination that should cause your video to be dark
and mushy. Maybe some 60 cycle buzz from 2 ground loop[s.
If this is broadband RF, then I'd suspect 60 cycle buzz. Do th capture
without the split to check.

I am capturing video using a Matrox G200-TV card (w/ 8 MBs on board RAM =

the card) on a Pentium III/550mhz that has 256MBs RAM. The video feed =
is a
standard cable TV feed that goes into a Panasonic VCR, which is then =
split
using a cable feed splitter (rated at 40-2150Mhz) into a Sony Trinitron =
19"
TV and the Matrox cable input. (The splitter is just so I can see the =
TV
image when the capturing software is not running).
Whenever I capture video, I get these annoying moir=E9 patterns, as you =
can

Has anybody seen this before with this (or a similar) setup? If so, do =
you
have any suggestions on how to get rid of the moir=E9? The moir=E9 is =
most
noticeable against the yellow and blue backgrounds, as you can see =
within
the
first minute of this video clip... This moir=E9 pattern does not =
appear on
the actual broadcast, as you watch it on TV...
Any help is much appreciated!!
