From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: RealPlayer Plus G2 audio drop out and stutter. We are using the RealPlayer as an automated, music playout system on the local hard drive, (NOT on the internet or any network). To do so, we are running a .smil file with the audio files placed between parallel tags. Each audio file has a "begin" time so we can keep the songs flowing smoothly from one to the next. The .smil file is working great! Everything is exactly as it should be, on time. We have tried encoding the .rm files at every type of compression and configuration (single rate, SureStream, etc), using the RealProducer Pro G2, and we've changed the number of songs between parallel tags from 2 to 50. But, we constantly are getting audio drop-out with no messages, and audio drop out with "Net Congestion - Buffering" message. I know that could mean too slow of a processor, but we're using PIII 400's, and I've tried the different compressions. Many times the drop out happens right before one song starts and then right after the next one starts, but it also happens righ! ! ! t in the middle of the song, as well. WHAT IS THE SOLUTION?? Any help or ideas? I thank you, in advance, for your quick response and help in this matter!
