Technically, no a RealServer is not required. However, the results will
probably not be what you are hoping for. When "streaming" RealPix from a web
server, all of the images must download before any of them can be rendered.
This means either your presentation will buffer for ever, or the presentation
will start to play without some of the images displayed. A RealServer, on the
other hand, streams the images as they are needed.
