it is crazy indeed. What with those of us who don't have a real player
plugin? An external player would be started and that would be very
annoying ...
Why not let the user choose a page with small graphics and large ones
depending on their bandwidth? I try to always provide a text-only
version of those pages with heavy graphics for people without fast
connections. And as a second option, users can disable loading of
graphics to save bandwidth (I do this frequently when searching for
information rather than looking for entertainement ;-)
