Subject: RedHat 6.0 Live Encoding
I have search all over the web for information on how to get live encoding
going on Linux. RealMedia sold me the encoding software but doesn't
really give instructions on how to get it going on Linux.
What I have is a Pentium III running RedHat 6.0 with a PCI Sound Blaster
16 and an Osprey 100 video capture card.
I have the encoding software coming up but it can't find the audio device
and I'm not really sure what it is doing with the video. If I run it
with just video, the encoder runs but I don't get any output from the
server.
Does anyone have a setup similar to this going? What drivers, settings,
etc. were needed to get it to work?
thanks
Gordon
