Anarchie 3.0 or later works better as an FTP client program. If you
have an earlier version, you can download the latest from
http://www.stairways.com/

Additionally, Mac OS 8.5 is better suited to using Internet software.
If you are running an earlier OS version, you may need to install
InternetConfig (which is also available from the stairways.com web
site.)

It's pretty rare the RealProducer won't be able to find the ftp
client program if the ftp client is on the hard drive. You can help
RealProducer along by telling the Macintosh which software you want
to use for file transfers. Under Mac OS 8.5, you can do that by
following these steps:

- Open the Internet Control panel (in the Apple menu, under Control Panels)
- Click the "Advanced" tab
- Click the "Helper Apps" icon
- Scroll down to the line beginning "ftp", and double-click that line
- Click the "Select" button to choose a new ftp helper application
- Using the file dialog, find and select the Anarchie application on your drive
- Close the Internet control panel

That will set Anarchie as the preferred application for ftp
transfers. RealProducer (and other Mac software) will respect that
setting.

Prior to Mac OS 8.5, you can use the InternetConfig application to
pick the preferred helper applications.
