From: "Dziuk, Fred" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Net Congestion errors on slow streams with RS G2 on WIN98 I installed the Realserver G2 on a WIndows 98 system to experiment with bandwidth requirements of various streams on our LAN. I can not get over 60 Kbps for any one stream. I have set the maximum bandwidth parameters to 300 kbps and have tried multiple encoding rates (200kbps and 80kbps), but still the maximum output is around 70 kbps. This causes many NETWORK CONGESTION delays and is just annoying. How can I configure RS G2 to do mutilple streams at a better rate? The documentation says I could do a 100 streams on a P-120. What is the problem? The server is a PII-333Mhz with 64 MB memory, Intel ethernet NIC, and WIN 98. Fred [ Moderator's Note: I believe this is an operating system limitation. ]
