Subject: SMI & fill= "meet"

Folks,
It is *very* useful to know about this command setting if you want your
video to come out without distortion. All of the SMIL examples I've seen
from the RealPlayer site use the default, fill="fit", which may distort the
picture image by changing its height to width ratio.
I recommend that someone at Real go over the examples and change them,
where appropriate, to the fill="meet" case.
That'll save a lot of headaches!

By the way, we just finished putting together an example CD that actually
runs SMIL on Mac or PC without any change in code whatsoever. I know,
"big deal" but it's the first time I saw it actually work.

By the way, Mac prefers 8.3 filenames even though Windows doesn't care.
Use the short, 8.3, names to avoid cross platform incompatibilities.

Also, I recommend NOT using sub-directories. A flat file structure
requires no tweaking, should the user decide to move things to his/her hard
drive.
