Mark - I'd stay online and read from sources you know you can trust (if not
to be complete, then at least to not be deliberately false...i.e. big sites
like Real's and ZiffDavis, IDG, etc etc) as it often takes several months
to a year for a book to be researched, written, published and
distributed...and that's a bare minimum. So by the time the book comes out
- it's already obsolete. Not quite a year ago, a few months after G2 Beta
came out I came across a brand new book talking about streaming media that
said Real was literally the only game in town (oops - beta javastreaming
and Windows Media Player were already out by this time, as was beta
streaming MP3) and that the latest version of Real was 3.0. D'OH!!

Subject: books?
Looking for a good up to date book on streaming audio/video over the net.
I am gearing up for a project to incorporate live broadcasts and need
a good overview of the subject. Any suggestions would be appreciated....
