Is it "test.rm" or just "test"  ??  The deletion of the .rm makes a
difference.  The static filename has to match exactly.

That's exactly what I did, and viola - works.   Can you play other
static files from this dir?  Asking the obvious ( but sometimes the
obvious trips you up) did you halt the encoder feeding the test.rm live
file to the server?

You shouldn't need any new dirs.  Just a file in the
..\Realserver\Content dir (or where ever your static content is stored
that has the exact same name, including the extension, as the file name
that the encoder is sending to the server.  Just the file name, not any
mount points, ports or any of that .

If you can play other static files, then you should be able to so this.
Try changing the filename to "test1.rm" and see if you can play it
statically from the Content dir.  If that works, then you should be good
to go.  //Glen
