Hello!
More than likely you are trying to stream your slideshow from a web server.
When using a web server, the images are not streamed, but rather
downloaded via the HTTP protocol. This is why it takes so long for the
image to render and why you hear your hard drive working a little hard.
The solution is to host the slide show from a RealServer or from one of the
hosting providers available in the RealSlideShow.
