From: Mike Rushford <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: server disconects. I have a real producer 6.0 running on suse linux and when I try to do a live broadcast from behind a firewall to a BSD real server 6.0 I get disconnected after 20 seconds of uploading to the server. Does this have to do with UDP as opposed to TCP? What ports will the server be replying to the producer? If I knew I think I could configure the fire wall to let the packets in to the system doing the real producer. Connection speed is not the issue as a friend who does not have a firewall and used win95 real producer has no problem wit the same bsd server. Thanks for any tips. -- Mike [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.hooked.net/~tvs/eyes/ http://sunmil1.uml.edu/tvs/members/mike_rushford.gif "If a cluttered desk signs a cluttered mind, Of what, then, is an empty desk a sign?" -- Albert Einstein. ******************************************************* The RealForum is an email discussion group focused on using RealNetworks products.
