Subject: Re: mastering for G2 on a G2-incompatible Mac

Hello,

I use a 90 MHz PowerMac 7200 to code a high-traffic daily news site, and I
was thinking about adding a RealAudio jingle to it.

Is it possible to run a G2 encoder on such older PowerMacs? (Never mind
that the G2 player won't work; my old 5.0 player plays the audio portion of
G2 files just fine, which is all I need to proof the jingle... :-)

Also, if I encode with Version 5.0, will users with G2 players get some
nasty message? ("Update encoding software, blah, blah...)

George
