I second that. In talking about files size, I encode an hour long
talk show in SureStream (28/56) sampled at 16 bit and 44kHz.
The raw source file is about 600 Mb. The encoded clip is about
30-40 Mb. At that sampling rate, each minute of recorded
audio is approximately 10 Mb. Keep in mind the codec used
for this is optimized for voice and minimal background music.
Now for the ROUGH estimate. The size of your 2 hour music clip, if
sampled at
16 bit and 22kHz and encoded SureStream (28/56), would be equal to the
size
of my one hour talk show clip plus some additional accounting for the
fact that
the codec you'll probably use is generally for music only. I'm gonna go
out on
a limb and say it'll be between 40-50 Mb.
