Subject: synchronized URLs

Hi,

I want to deliver an embedded presentation with two frames. In one frame
I have an image window with a streaming video or a slideshow. In the
other frame, I have a standard web page with more detailed information
regarding the present information in the video or the slideshow.

Is it possible to have HTTP URLs in my SMIL file that could just call
these web pages in this other frame? It is not important for me how much
time this URL will take to load, I only need that it call the URL for me
at a certain moment and that it continue presenting the video.

I saw somewhere that it is possible also to add URL events to a
RealMedia file and that when the files reaches a certain time it calls
that URL. Ok, but I need to do this also with MPEG movies, what should I
do then? It seems logical to me that this could be done through the SMIL
file, 'cos then I could send either MPEG or RM files.

regards,

Roberto A. Bittencourt
