You can dynamically create a SMIL file:

Have the results of the selection placed in a smil file that is created when
the person has made their selection (e.g. get them to click a "finish"
button when they have chose all the files they want a description of; use
JavaScript to "fill in the blanks" in the SMIL file; then play the SMIL
file).

The details you will have to figure out yourself, but hope this helps.
