Subject: 2 actions with one link in REal Text
Hello,
I have a SMIL presentation that plays within the Realplayer. It consists of
an area for slides (which are .gifs from a .rp file), an area for video,
and an area for text from an .rt file. The text consists of the slide titles.
I'd like people to be able to click on the text and seek to the related
point in the video (which I can do easily with code like this):
<a href="command:seek(0:0:4:15.0)" target="_player">Title of Slide</a>
and Simultaneously have that click bring up the correct associated image
from the .rp file.
Is this possible? If so, how?
I know I can easily use SMIL to just play straight through like a
slideshow, but I want to give users the ability to control the flow of the
presentation by clicking on the slide titles, while keeping all the
elements in synch.
