The simplest method is to use the batch facilities that come with the
encoders/producers. Use the batch facility to run the program -- it will
exit on failure. Just invoke it from a batch file that loops continuously.

The program, rmbatch.exe, will be in the same directory as the GUI you
normally run.

Invoking rmbatch.exe with no parameters will bring up a help file

Subject: Live Encoder Query

Hi Everybody -

Is there a way to make the live broadcast encoder come up and start
encoding without operator intervention ? I have an application where I
have a video stream I want encoded 24 hrs a day. If the encoder machine
should fail, I want to be able to restart encoding automatically without
going through the wizard. Is there any way to accomplish this ?
