Subject: Access control for real clips
I was wondering if there is any API I can access that will allow me to
insert an independent access control mechanism for real content. I'm
operating a site where access to content is controlled from a central
database. What I'd like to do is to control access to real content without
having to ask the user to supply a username and password again when they
ask for the clip. Instead, I'd like it to read a cookie or pathinfo or
something that would allow the real server to decide whether this
particular user's request should be honored. Any way to do this ?
