Subject: BUG IN REAL PLAYER 7.0
I have talks on my website in synchronized slide/audio, using a .txt timer
file that is merged into .rm files using rmmerge.
With the Real Player 7.0, none of these talks play. The URL's are
addressed as
u 00:00:00.0 00:00:46.0 http://www.hdcn.com/symp/99asn/catt/catt1.htm#01
u 00:00:46.0 00:01:05.0 http://www.hdcn.com/symp/99asn/catt/catt1.htm#02
u 00:01:05.0 00:01:20.0 http://www.hdcn.com/symp/99asn/catt/catt1.htm#03
u 00:01:20.0 00:02:10.0 http://www.hdcn.com/symp/99asn/catt/catt1.htm#04
This is the text file. When I try to play the .rm file created using
rmmerge -f and
remevents, the URLs I get with the 7.0 player are:
....................................catt1.htm%2301
....................................catt1.htm%2302
etc.
Of course, this just gives a "file not found" message
It is important that the new player be backward compatible and consistent
with
the G2 player and 5.0 players, as many people on other systems only have
these
available.
