Subject: Sequencing smil files

Hello:

I'm trying to play a sequence of smil events (files), one after another.
I assumed I would do it the same way I normally sequence rm files in a
ram file, that is, putting the files in order:
[pathname]first.smil
[pathname]second.smil
etc

But, when I do this, the first smil event happens, but not the following
ones.

For some time, I've been using a ram file which includes ra's, rm's, and
a smil and it has been working, BUT, when I examined it today, I
discovered that the smil file is the last called. (I got lucky in the
sequence, it seemed). This sequence, I discovered today, also fails if I
copy the smil call and put it higher in the order of called files.

What's the secret of connecting smil files? TIA.
