Subject: Re: MP3 files

My original intent was to eliminate real server from the picture, I have a
hardware MP3 encoder which streams to a Multicast group. When we tested using
the Digital Bitcasting/Real Server combo, delay (which is of major concern) was
in the 60 second range and we need less than 10 seconds. The player that came
with the unit gives suitable delay's (3 seconds), But, we need to add streams
together which real audio system gives us.

What I was looking for was a
stream plugin that would allow me to connect to this multicast group and
start playing.

If anyone knows anything, I'd appreciated it.
