We've done about 200 simultaneous 350kbps streams from a Sun E450.  CPU usage
runs less than 10%.  We've also done about 100 simultaneous 1.5Mbps MPEG1
streams from an E250, with about the same CPU load.  I'd say if you've got the
network bandwidth, you can certainly deliver the streams from the right box.
