Use RMEditor which is in the RealProducer SDK. OK, it's a little basic, but
it will get you a clip's title, author, copyright and other info. It does
not, however, return the sample rate (or rates for a G2 file) used to encode
the clip, which is what I presume you mean by 'file format'.
