Subject: Problems with 7.0 Beta and G2 ActiveX control

Hi,

I am using the Real Player G2 and 7.0 Beta ActiveX controls in an
application.
Here are some more problems I have noticed with 7.0 and G2 Player ActiveX
controls.

1. I see the image from the previous connection in both the 7.0 Beta
version and
also in G2. The problem seems to be that when the DoStop method is
called on the ActiveX control, it does not hide the image. So when the next
connection is made, it shows that image from the previous connection. Is
there a way to fix this problem i.e. hide the video image once the DoStop
method is called?

2. In 7.0, after playing a clip successfully, if you try to play a
non-existent clip (which will give an error), it goes ahead and plays
the last clip which was played successfully. G2 does not have this problem.

3. It seems the logo cannot be hidden though I call the SetNoLogo method for
7.0. This was working fine with G2 ActiveX control.

4. I am unable to drop the 7.0 ActiveX control on a dialog though I can
continue to create it dynamically. On checking the CLSID in the registry,
it matches fine. However for the new 7.0 Beta version, when trying to drop
the control on the dialog, it seems to complain about some other CLSID
which is not registered.

I would appreciate any help with these problems related to the 7.0 and G2
ActiveX controls.

Thanks,
Aloke.
