From: Steve CORNU <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: Bandwidth Congestion between Server and Encoder John, If you are using G2 surestream, the file is more bigger than the same file in real 5.0 ! Just an example : if you make a encoding for 28Kps Modem and 56Kbps Modem, the bandwith from the encoder to the server will be 57 Kbps (if we had single ISDN, the bandwith goes to 102 Kbps) ! You can find this information in the Real Producer Plus for NT in View/Statistics... [ RF: The View/Statistics window is always the best way to know which streams will actually be sent to the server. This window is also present in RealProducer for Linux. ] Hope this help Steve RealForum wrote: > > From: John Willson Strange <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Subject: Bandwidth Congestion between Server and Encoder > > Ahh here we go, > > After banging my head on the desk for a while here I'm having some trouble > with bandwidth consumption between our server and remote encoders.
