Subject: using the SMIL switch tag with layout section

I have a situation where I'm trying to synchronize a realtext stream with
different frame-sized videos based on the end user's connection speed using
the smil "switch" tag, and I'm finding that the lower frame-sized videos are
being stretched to fill in the entire region, (the dimensions of which I
have to specify in the layout section).

Ideally, what I would like to have happen is to program it so that based on
the connection speed/system bitrate that is detected, --- the same realtext
stream will play (scrolling text) -- but the video region would dynamically
resize itself to accommodate for the different frame-sized videos:

28k - 160x120
56k - 176x132
dual isdn - 240x180
adsl/cable - 320x240

Is there a special tag that I could use in the layout section that would
allow the different sized videos to determine and control the dimensions of
the video region?

Thanks,
