In RealPlayer G2/6 no, you can't do that. Maybe in 7 you can...although I
wouldn't think so as what you're doing is telling the RealPlayer to load an
entirely new SMIL file each time you click a link to another SMIL
file...and that new file would have to have the code to play the audio to
keep it going.

But you shouldn't have to...I would think you could merge the two SMIL
presentations into one. Code might be more complex, but it should be
do-able.

Unless...oh, I get it...the second round of SMIL files are somebody else's
that you have no control over?

Subject: SMIL Problem when playing 2 smils parallel.
Hi there,
I've a problem when I want to play 2 SMIL file in parallel.
I have a SMIL presentation which plays a real audiopart in the back ground
and shows a couple of links to other SMIL files.
When I click one of those links the current SMIL presentation stops
playing, thus the real audio stops also. Then the SMIL presentation I
requested starts playing!
Does anyone know if it is possible to keep a current SMIL presentation
running while spawning another SMIL presentation?
