Subject: changin smil from the server side on a live broadcast
Hi,
I want to know if the next scenario is possible :
(this scenario is in the point of view of a consumer - a web surfer that
uses real player7)
A consumer is watching real player content of some radio station. he hears
the live audio stream and sees the song name of the currently played song
displayed. once the song
changes, the text (realtext) changes and shows the new songs name.
[up to here everything is ok and i managed to create this scenario]
suddenly the broadcast changes to news and the whole layout infront of the
consumer changes to some scrollingnews display with the text of the news.
My question is actually : can i automaticly tell real server to go from one
smil to another (changing the layout) without the consumer needing to
press any button(link) but it should happen automaticly on the server
side
(and if possible: seamlessly with out rebuffering stage at the client side
- but this is a little too much to ask i think...)
-thanks
eran
