From: Remo Campopiano <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: One Pentium & 3 Live Cameras??? Can someone help me with this? Can one Pentium II computer record from three live video cameras simultaneous and send all three streams to a remote RealMedia server for live Internet viewing. Facts: 1. Two of the cameras are simple webcams which don't need a digitizing card, and are hooked up to two USP Ports. 2. One camera is a Palmcorder hooked up to a digitizing card. 3. The Pentium II is running the G2 encoder (or three encoders), and has a dual ISDN connection (128k throughput), always on. 4. The server, in a remote location, is an NT server running the G2 RealMedia server (Basic Package), hooked up to a T1 connection. What I'm not sure of, is can the Pentium II bring in three live digital video feeds and encode them to RealVideo all at the same time? Do I need three separate computers? Please say no. Thanks for your advice. remo ******************************************************* The RealForum is an email discussion group focused on using RealNetworks products.
