The rjmf.jar stuff from Real only does rendering of RealMedia files.
There's nothing they provide that's Java-based for doing encoding or
accessing their decoded data files. (If I'm wrong, pleeeaase correct me as I
plan to write JMF codec plugin for the RealProducer SDK in the near future.)
But last time I asked Real about this, they said they had no plans for doing
it anytime in the future (but that was last summer).

Subject: [jmf] Help pls: urgently need complete documentation sdk package
native library
Hi to everybody !
I am developing a video server application using java for my thesis and I
would like to do encoding/decoding of real media. I have downloaded the SDK
package from the website, but the documentation
enclosed seemed quite incomplete since it doesn't gives the full
interface of all the classes listed in the file rjmf.jar.
Is, someone of you, able to give me additional informations about the
library rjmf.jar, in order to complete the few ones which came from the SDK
package ?
I'd like also to know titles of books about the real player G2 SDK library
for JMF, if they exist.
Thank you very much in advance for your help !!!
