OK, now i ran an experiment :

in the smil i put this line:
:
<ref src="/encoder/albumpic.rp?wallclock=sync" region="album pic"
fill="freeze"/>
:

and i sent the exlivpix.exe with these params:

exlivpix eran 4040 albumpic.rp d:\real\broadcast\rp\albumpic.jpg 120 120
12000 eran eran

It works, * BUT * there seems to be a bug - when i open the smil with real
player 7, it won't show the picture, only when i change the picture
(i replace the jpg with a different picture file that has the same name)
and an event of change is cought by exlibpix.exe and sent to RA server,
only then i can see the new picture and all subsequent changes that i do to
  the jpg are shown too.

So for some reason i can never see the first picture (the screen is black)-
only after the first change it can be viewed.

(p.s. i thought the problem could have been the picture itself but i tried
to switch between 2 jpgs 3 times - 1st then 2nd and then again 1st -
what i saw on real player was : blank - 2nd pic - 1st pic)

Any suggestions ?
