From: "Bruce Ableidinger" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: win32.mak files I followed the doc directions to attempt to make a win32 version of testplay. Using Developer Studio/VC++ 6.0, I did an Open Workspace and set the Files of type: to .mak. Double clicking on win32.mak results in the message: "This makefile was not generated by Developer Studio. Continuing will create a new Developer Studio project to wrap the makefile. ..." This means that one has to start from scratch to make a .dsp file with all the parameters in the win32.mak file, a rather tedious and error-prone process. Why can't VC++ read this make file? The file contains the line MAKE = nmake Is there any simple way to modify the .mak file so Developer Studio can read it? As an alternative, can .dsp files be obtained for the different programs that can be built (like testplay)? --- Bruce Ableidinger ******************************************************* The RealForum is an email discussion group focused on using RealNetworks products.
