I ran your presentation locally and it played correctly (I had to throw
in a couple of dummy images). I also put it on a 7.0 server and it also
ran correctly with the background-color being painted correctly and not
flickering to back background.
I think the problem is that your server is a 6.0.x server and thus
should be upgraded. There was a change to the realpix renderer
somewhere around the transition from 6.0 to 6.1 to correct a problem
with the background-color option. I thought that change was in the
client side renderer only but apparently it must have been in the file
format plugin on the server as well since the server seems to be
affecting playback.
You should be ok if you can upgrade your server.
